In many regions in the United States, the autumn and spring seasons bring major stink bug pressures. During the autumn cool-down, they run for shelter inside our homes, where they can overwinter. When spring arrives, they begin to emerge. During these times, you might find clusters of stink bugs gathered around your home, especially on exterior walls.

During in the warmest springtime and summer months, stink bugs are out feeding and breeding – not usually close to our homes.

Northeast Florida winters have become relatively mild, without sharp drops in temperature, which means the local stink bug population isn’t feeling as compelled to find shelter. In many areas, this has led to a noticeable dip in overall invasion activity.
