Preventative Pest Treatment Plans: Helps Protect Your Home Year-Round In Great Neck

You can handle your pest issue one of two ways:

  • Option 1: react after seeing a slew of pests on your property.
  • Option 2: have a pest treatment plan (before the season starts).

We like the second one better. And why? Because having a pest treatment plan in place not only keeps pests at bay, it keeps worries away, too.

So, how do you create a pest control plan, and what’s the cost of not implementing one?

Reactive Pest Treatment Costs More Than You Think

Having one-off professional treatment done after pests are already taking over helps a little. It reduces populations and gives you a bit of relief at the moment.

But, if treatment isn’t consistent, pests begin to crawl through the cracks (literally). Soon, you’ll be calling to make another appointment after pests control your yard again. So, one-off treatments help in the moment, but create a never-ending pest cycle you can’t keep up with.

So, what is it costing you? Money, yes. Time, yes. But also: sanity. There are better ways to approach pest control this year.

We Start With an Assessment

Before we treat your property, our trained technicians walk your property, looking for prime pest hotspots:

  • Where water collects
  • Shady areas
  • Leaf litter
  • Dense vegetation beside your house

Then, our technicians will create a plan tailored to your property.

What a Year-Round Plan Covers (Season by Season)

Depending on the time of year, we may approach your property differently.

Here’s how we approach each season:

Spring - seasonally, this is when temperatures rise and pests begin to reproduce rapidly. Having treatment early-on in the spring helps prevent pest populations from getting out of control.

Summer - this is peak pest season, and where you’ll probably see our technicians most often. Our barrier treatments target the shaded, humid areas where mosquitoes and ticks rest during the day, and our technicians return every 21 days to keep pests at bay.

Fall - as temperatures cool, pests of many kinds decide to push indoors looking for food, water, and shelter. So, that's when rodent control becomes the priority, along with spiders, stink bugs, and boxelder bugs.

Winter - during this season, some pests may have made it inside. But, the point of a year-round plan is to decrease the number that make it indoors for winter. Having all the other seasons covered with pest control services makes winter a lot easier.

Choosing Your Coverage

We offer two levels, depending on how far you want coverage to go:

  • Multi-Pest 365 covers 25 or more common pests, inside and outside the home, season after season.
  • Multi-Pest 365 Plus Rodents adds coverage for the mice and rats that turn up once temperatures drop.

Within that, you also choose your treatment:

  • Traditional barrier treatment - EPA-registered, applied by trained technicians, and lasting up to 21 days per application depending on weather.
  • Natural treatment option - a botanical oil formula lasting up to 14 days per application.

These are two separate products with different formulations, so pick the one that fits your property and your preferences. Either way, you can return to treated areas once the treatment has dried.

Let Us Do the Heavy Lifting

Pests never had the right to control your home.

And that’s why we’re helping you take it back. While there isn’t a treatment that controls 100% of pests, we get pretty close.

We serve homeowners in Great Neck and throughout Nassau County and Queens with our barrier treatment. It helps deliver up to an 85-90% reduction in mosquitoes on your property. And helps out with other pests too.

Between visits, you can do a few things too:

  • Dump standing water after rain
  • Keep gutters clear
  • Trim vegetation back from the house
  • Store trash and pet food sealed

Then, we’ll take care of the rest. And if something isn't working, we always make it right. Our 100% satisfaction guarantee covers a return visit at no additional charge.
