Ants go after homes that provide food, moisture, and accessible entry points. They send scouts to find resources, and once a scout finds a reliable source of food or water inside your home, it lays a chemical trail that brings the rest of the colony.

The best time to start is early spring, typically April in the Worcester area, before pest populations have a chance to build momentum through their first full breeding cycles.

DIY mosquito sprays provide short-term, localized relief. But they don’t deal with the population at its source in the same way that sustained, property-wide control does.

Tick bites carry the risk of transmitting serious illnesses, including Lyme disease, anaplasmosis, babesiosis, and in rare cases Powassan virus. All of these are present in Massachusetts. 

Mosquitoes tend to be most active when the light is low and they’re hard to see. Additionally, some species are very small, some bite during the day when you're not expecting them, and all of them are drawn to you by CO2 and body heat rather than by sight.

They do, and these trails can be found through droppings, greasy rub marks along walls, and urine stains that glow under UV light.
