It helps to clear the yard first. Pick up toys, lawn games, pet bowls, and anything sitting on the grass or under shrubs. The treatment targets the foliage and resting areas, so the more reachable those surfaces are, the better your protection from pests.

As for pets and people, the rule is simple. Keep them inside when the treatment is being applied and while the treatment is drying. Once the treatment dries, usually around 30 minutes to an hour, you can go about your life like normal. The yard is OK to use again.
As for pools and gardens, you should know technicians are already trained to avoid them. They’re not eager to mist down a pool or open blooms. But it still never hurts to point them out.
