Where are mosquitoes breeding if I don't have standing water?
You almost certainly do have standing water. But you might not be able to see it. Mosquitoes need very little water to breed. A bottle cap full is enough for some species.
It's hard to predict exact numbers, but the long-term trend in Orange County is heading the wrong direction. Invasive Aedes mosquitoes keep expanding, and milder winters mean breeding never fully stops.
