Meet the Fenton-Brighton Team

I am a United States Marine. I enlisted in December 1975. Started boot camp August 1976. Ended my enlistment at the rank of Sargent in December 1981.

I grew up on Long Island and moved to Chicago in 1980 for a job in the budding Cable TV Business. I eventually started my own business In the cable industry. I migrated to the Electrical Contracting business. I was introduced to Mosquito Squad due to a relationship with a sister company at the time.

I’m proud of the fact we started with one territory and one truck. We have grown to 18 territories and close to 100 trucks in 3 states.

The favorite part of my job is to create and environment where our employees can do their job efficiently and enjoy doing what they do.

Don Quaid is an entrepreneur and business leader with a passion for innovation, problem-solving, and creating impactful solutions. With a background in blue and white collar positions, he has successfully built and scaled multiple businesses, focusing on the customers wants and needs and promoting new ways of thinking.

He is the co-owner of Mosquito Squad Chicago/Michigan as well as RTS and MBI Tools. He has been fortunate to have grown other companies in his career, two of which have sold in the past year. Don leads his companies with much success and has been able to forge lasting business relationships with customers, employees and vendors.

Beyond business, Don is passionate about working out and goes to a cross-fit gym 4-5 days a week. He spends quality time with family and friends as much as possible. Cars have always been a hobby as well. Fairly recently he started learning and investing into cryptocurrency.

"I have enjoyed working for Mosquito Squad Chicago since 2014.  I began as a Technician, but have spent the last 9 years ensuring that all of our technology is operating at it's best.  When I'm not working, I enjoy baking, working on cars and tinkering with gadgets."

I was a customer first before I came to work for Mosquito Squad.  As a licensed realtor for many years I was looking to possibly take a break from real estate and do something more physically challenging while I still had it in me to do so.  One day I came across a job post for Mosquito Squad looking to hire technicians for the summer provided you can pass the two state exams.  That was in April of 2022 and since then I have been happily working for Mosquito Squad as a licensed technician and now a supervisor training the next generation of technicians to spray up and down your decks under your eaves and into your woods.  My team is trained, ready, willing, and able.  Give Mosquito Squad a call today.....This STUFF Really Works!

I have been Mosquito Squad’s Controller since 2019, overseeing the Accounting and Human Resources Departments. Other responsibilities include financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and treasury functions, and I assist with management decisions affecting the stability, growth, and health of the organization.

I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Accountancy from DePaul University. As a CPA, I have held senior management roles in public accounting and in numerous private companies for over 25 years. I can often be overheard telling others that my role at Mosquito Squad has been my career favorite, in no small part due to the people and culture.

When not working, I enjoy my growing family and circle of friends, live music, traveling, experimental cooking, and container gardening.

With over 20 years of experience, I am a Senior Accounting Professional with a strong track record across diverse industries. My expertise includes GAAP reporting and managerial accounting, with a demonstrated ability to manage and streamline financial processes. I am committed to enhancing financial controls, improving operational efficiency, and leading teams to success.

Throughout my career, I have consistently delivered results in financial management, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, while also driving cost-saving initiatives and improving internal controls. I have successfully managed accounting functions, financial reporting, tax filings, and audit coordination, while mentoring and developing high-performing teams. My technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Payroll, and ERP systems, combined with my strategic approach to accounting, positions me as a valuable asset to the Mosquito Squad organization.

With six years of experience at Mosquito Squad, I specialize in sales and customer service, helping clients find effective solutions to their pest concerns. What I enjoy most about working here is the strong sense of teamwork and family that drives everything we do. Outside of work, I’m passionate about sports, traveling, and hiking, always up for new adventures. I find joy in connecting with people every day, ensuring they receive the best service possible for their pest control needs.

I work in the accounting department at Mosquito Squad assisting in the accuracy and efficiency of the financial processes performing accounts payable and accounts receivable duties. I have been a part of the organization for 2 and a half years starting in customer service which helped me to gain a strong understanding of operations and customer needs. Outside of work, I enjoy family time and pursuing personal interests.
