Bailey has been married to his wife Madison for seven years and they have two kids. He's active in his local church, helps support youth programs, sponsors a local FCA pickleball chapter, and stays involved with his Chamber of Commerce. Outside of work he's usually outdoors, whether that's pickleball, fishing, hiking, camping, or canoeing. What keeps him going is simple: helping families across the area get their yards back and enjoy being outside again.

He came to pest control through a Plant Science degree from Utah State University and six years working in agriculture, which gave him a foundation in how pests, plants, and environments interact that most people in this industry simply don't have. It also shapes how the work gets done in your yard, because reading how pests move through a specific landscape is the difference between spraying and actually solving the problem.
He served six years in the Marine Reserve as an infantryman and four more in the Tennessee Army National Guard. That background shaped how he thinks about standards, follow through, and doing things right the first time, and it shows up in how his teams operate in the field every day.
Brandon has been married to his wife Tori for ten years and they have four kids. He's active in his local church and serves as a Cub Scout den leader, the kind of person who shows up consistently, not just when it's convenient. Outside of work he practices Jiu-Jitsu, camps, and stays active. He's also the family's beekeeper, tending an orchard and keeping hives at the office and on his brother's property, which is a fitting hobby for a plant scientist who ended up running a pest control company.
Shane Lumpkin has been in pest control for more than 18 years, and termites are his specialty, Eastern subterranean termites in particular, the species responsible for most of the structural damage homes take in this part of the country. He's the designated certified operator for the company in Georgia and a licensed certified operator in Tennessee and Alabama as well, with formal credentials in wood-destroying organisms across all three states. When something needs identifying, Shane is the one the rest of the team turns to, and he's quiet by nature until you get him on a job site, where his passion for the work takes over.
He covers Hixson, Signal Mountain, and Ooltewah, and ranges as far north as Soddy-Daisy and as far south as Adairsville, Georgia. A lifetime native of Lafayette, Georgia, Shane has been married to his wife Ava for 23 years and has two sons, plus three cats at home. He's active at his church and looks out for his neighbors, the kind of guy who's as dependable off the clock as he is on it.
When he's not working he fishes, plays golf, and collects coins, cards, and Hot Wheels. Not long ago his older son passed down the Hot Wheels collection Shane had been building for him since the early 1980s to his younger brother, and Shane will admit he teared up a little watching it happen.
When three of James Shoemate's customers had perfectly kept yards, no standing water, and still couldn't sit outside, most people would have shrugged and sprayed again. James went looking. He figured the mosquitoes had to be coming from somewhere nearby, just not from his customers' properties, so he worked the area until he found it: an abandoned home sitting between them with a pool breeding mosquitoes by the hundreds of thousands. He treated the pool to kill the larvae and brought in county code enforcement to get it drained. Within weeks, the problem was gone.

After six years he can often identify a pest just from how a homeowner describes it, and on inspections he knows the difference between water damage and termite damage, the kind of call that saves a homeowner from a much bigger bill. He's seen the bad ones too, like a termite job where the colony had tunneled clear into the house with mud tubes running floor to joist.
Logan grew up playing baseball and was headed for a college career before an injury ended it. He coached middle and high school ball for years, and now coaches his own son's team. On weekends he travels for adult softball, a genuine passion. He's from Trion, Georgia, with two kids and two kittens at home. He works a property the way he played: he competes, and he doesn't quit until the job's done right.
Brittney Shelton is often the first person you'll talk to when you reach out, and she's been in customer service and sales since 2004. She joined Mosquito Squad Plus a little over two years ago and now manages sales across every market the company serves, helping customers sort out exactly what they need for mosquitoes and pest control.
What she's after on every call is simple. She wants you to feel heard, valued, and confident that you're working with people who actually care about protecting your home and family, not just booking a job. After two decades on the phone with customers, she's good at the part that matters most: making someone feel like a person, not a ticket.
Away from work, Brittney is happily married with two boys and a miniature Schnauzer who, by her own account, runs the house like a third kid. When she's not working you'll usually find her in the stands at her boys' football and baseball games, and she doesn't miss one if she can help it.
Martin Kirby Jr. came to sales the right way, by doing the work first. He started with Mosquito Squad Plus as a certified pest control technician in Knoxville before moving into sales in early 2026, so when he tells you which service targets the pest you're dealing with, it's coming from someone who's been in the field doing the treatments. He primarily covers Knoxville, Chattanooga, and the greater Birmingham area.
His goal on every call is straightforward: make sure customers feel they're in good hands with people who genuinely care about their safety, their comfort, and protecting their home. He handles the part where a homeowner isn't sure what they're up against and walks them through what actually solves it.
Originally from Delaware, Martin now calls Tennessee home and is grateful to be raising his family in the South. He and his wife Holly have five kids, plus two memorable pets: Kevin, a Maremma Sheepdog, and Yoshi Godzilla Kirby, an albino leopard gecko. Off the clock he's outdoors with his family as much as possible, hiking, fishing, swimming, and teaching his kids about wildlife. Fittingly for the work, he's got a real passion for entomology and spends his own time studying insects and how they behave.
Joey Persons came to Mosquito Squad from logistics, where he managed a Kroger distribution operation and 137 drivers, until the 80-hour weeks wore thin and he went looking for something better. He found it here six years ago, and he'll tell you straight that the team became family. As VP of Operations, Joey is the reason the day to day actually works, and he's been part of this operation longer than just about anyone, since before its current ownership, which makes him the institutional memory of how everything runs.
If something on the operations side needs solving, routing, fleet maintenance, equipment, the logistics of getting the right tech to the right property on time, Joey is the one who handles it. He's the person you call when you've got a problem nobody else can crack, and the work he does behind the scenes is a big part of why service shows up when it's supposed to and gets done right.
Outside of work, Joey is married with three kids, and motorcycles run in the family. He's been riding since he was a kid, his wife rides her own, and his son already has his eye on hers. When he isn't on two wheels he's usually fishing, which is the one he'd pick first if you made him choose.
Aaron Smith has been in the lawn care and pest industry since 1996, which is to say he was building expertise in this business before a lot of people in it had started their careers. As VP of Sales, he manages and trains the entire sales team and runs the commercial side of the business, where he's on the phone with clients daily, sorting out scheduling and making sure commercial customers can meet the needs of their own customers. Nearly three decades in, he knows what actually solves a problem versus what just sells a service, and that's the standard he holds the whole sales team to.
Aaron was born and raised in Northern Kentucky. He and his wife recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, and they have three sons he's quick to brag on: the oldest is serving in the U.S. Army, the middle is a college quarterback, and the youngest is finishing high school while working toward his pilot's license. When he's not working, Aaron is usually outdoors with his family, whether that's boating, fishing, camping, skiing, biking, or getting in a round of golf.
