Nebraska weather is always up and down, confusing even the groundhogs about what season it may be. While it is winter, pests don’t just go away. They seek warmth and food, a place to make a nest for the winter, and your house is at the top of their recommendations. When people think of pests, our minds go straight to spring with mosquito bites, trails of ants, and stinging wasps. But there are plenty more pests than those that actually can invade your home all winter long. Larger menaces don’t come to mind until you see stringy webs or, worse, droppings in drawers and scurrying through your walls.

In 2025, we introduced our Rodent Control options under our Home Shield package, and near the end of the Summer season, we established it as its own service so we can help our customers through the winter with the rodents that wouldn’t get caught in the frost. 

Home Shield

This package comes with indoor and outdoor treatment, encompassing small rodents like mice and rats, to the smallest pests like ants and spiders. We’ll target all the risk areas of our basic treatment outside, as well as the foundation and entry points of your home, to create a higher assurance that pests stay out.

Inside, we have an open-door policy. If you have pest issues inside, simply notify us. We would focus on furnace rooms, dryer vent openings to the outside, kitchen and bathroom windows, and basements. Let us know where you’d like us to treat and what pests you’ve been seeing, and we’ll be there to treat.

For rodents, this can be glue or snap traps inside, as well as an outdoor bait station. Our technicians will inspect the area, decide where best to set the traps in your concern areas to make sure we catch those critters. 

Once inside is clear, we’ll move to outside only treatment until you need us inside.

Rodent Control

Outside only, we’ll place and maintain bait stations around your home to stop mice and rats before they migrate inside. This service goes through the winter while rodents may be looking for new homes, and so we can maintain protection in preparation for spring.
