All-Natural Bug Repellent in Northeast Wisconsin
How Natural Mosquito Repellent Works
Our all-natural mosquito repellent treatment is applied to the areas of your property where mosquitoes are known to harbor and feed. It is made up of essential oils and has a slight botanical fragrance that dissipates within a few hours of application. Mosquitoes have a very keen ability to detect our human scent from CO2, octenol and other pheromones. The residual scent left after our all natural spray treatment acts as both a natural bug repellent and odor mask that interferes with a mosquito’s ability to find its target.
Since this all-natural mosquito control breaks down more quickly, it needs to be applied every 14 days for continuous protection (as opposed to the 21-day cycle of our Barrier Protection Spray).
This all-natural bug repellent isn’t quite as effective as our traditional mosquito control solutions. However, depending on your own yard and needs, it may be right for you. As always, if you’re not 100% satisfied, we’ll make it right with another spray as soon as possible. We provide natural mosquito treatments throughout Northeast Wisconsin, including Fon Du Loc, Oshkosh, Green Bay, Appleton, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, and beyond.
Natural Bug Repellent FAQs
Does this repel other insects?
Yes! Our natural solution is truly a natural bug repellent and will also help repel and control fleas, chiggers, gnats, flies, spiders, certain ants and more.
What is an essential oil?
Essential oils come from plants. Our all natural spray product contains rosemary and peppermint oils, and is non-harmful to all mammals. The product is NOP (National Organic Program) compliant and has no aquatic toxicity, therefore, applications may be made near or over open water.
Will the scent from the essential oils bother me?
Fortunately, our noses are not quite as sensitive, so you will detect only a mild odor that dissipates within a few hours of application.
Why are all natural treatments more frequent than traditional?
In order for the natural treatment to remain effective, treatments must occur every 14 days, as opposed to the 21-day cycle of our standard solution.
