At Mosquito Squad, our mission is to protect our customers from the dangers of mosquitoes - without making a detrimental impact on the environment. We care about our ecosystem and recognize the significant impact pollinators, such as bees, play within it. We are committed to preserving their population with the products, training, and education offered across our network of independently owned and operated franchises.
Our efforts start at the beginning; all technicians at our franchise locations are trained and equipped to identify mosquito harborage sites and beneficial plants. Then, during treatment, our products are applied to mosquito harborage sites in strict accordance with labeling guidelines and the technicians take great care to avoid treating blooming flowers and other specific plants that typically attract pollinators.
As part of our efforts, we’re proud to have a network of beekeepers both within Mosquito Squad corporate and at many of our franchises. With their hands-on beekeeping experience, this network of dual owners and beekeepers aid in furthering knowledge of integrated pest management amongst the Mosquito Squad team. They are available year-round to help with answers to common questions about pollinators and to offer expert guidance on the treatment of yards that have a high population of pollinators. In addition, they host educational seminars at Mosquito Squad's annual meetings where they highlight emerging trends within the beekeeping community.
