Mosquito Squad of Columbia cares about the 17,000 dogs and cats that enter our municipal shelters each year.

Did you know that of the 17,000 dogs and cats that enter our Richland and Lexington County shelters each year, almost 11,000 of these are euthanized? Overpopulation can be managed and the Pawmetto Lifeline has a great plan through adoptions, spay/neuter, rescue collaboration and education.

Fighting against such huge numbers makes the challenge seem insurmountable. You can help! It is important to note that 100% of the proceeds from Bark to the Park benefit homeless pets in the Midlands and supports Pawmetto Lifeline’s life-saving programs.The Bark To The Park event is Saturday April 18th, 2015 and registration is from 9:00 a.m – 10:00 a.m. and the walk begins at 10:30 a.m.. As avid pet owners, we are thrilled to participate in the event.

Mosquito Squad provides both mosquito and tick protection with our barrier treatment protection program. Did you know your cat and dog can get Lyme Disease the same way we can? Did you know that eliminating mosquitoes in your backyard helps protect your dog or cat from heartworms? Come see us!
