Tyler and the Mosquito Squad Team prioritize supporting and giving back to their local community they live and work in with their time, effort, energy, and resources. They are particularly passionate about supporting our Veterans and Active Duty Military; First Responders; and Youth and Educational programs. The specific groups below are organizations/agencies that Mr. Thoem and Mosquito Squad of Houston are honored to support: PTSD Foundation of America-Camp Hope, Hire Heroes USA, Harris County Emergency Services District 48, and the Little People's School.

PTSD Foundation of America - Camp hope

The Mission of Camp Hope and the PTSD Foundation of America is to bring hope and healing to Combat Veterans and their families suffering from the effects of combat-related Post Traumatic Stress. Its vision is to drastically reduce the Veteran suicide rate, which is currently approximately 21 per day. The PTSD Foundation of America focuses specifically on combat trauma because they believe that Veterans dealing with combat specific trauma deserve a safe environment to share their experienced trauma with other combat Veterans.

Camp Hope's purpose is to provide a safe space for the victims of trauma and post-traumatic stress in which to experience healing. The intensive residential program at Camp Hope aims to provide a more comprehensive peer support and mentoring based healing for those who need more than our Warrior Groups can provide.

The Camp Hope staff is a unique team of certified combat Veterans and civilian pastoral staff trained in working with victims of trauma and post-traumatic stress. They understand those who have served this nation and continue to struggle with the invisible wounds of combat and are working to assist our troops in putting the pieces of their lives back together.
