Mosquito Squad Franchises Have the Support Required for Success

As we created the category of mosquito control, we literally wrote the book on how to do it, and do it well. We pioneered the processes and technology used by the industry. As pioneers and visionaries, every day we continue to refine our systems to maximize your expertise and optimize your chances of reaching and exceeding your goals for the business. Here’s how it works:

Initial Training

Each new franchisee participates in a week-long training session at the Mosquito Squad corporate headquarters in Macon, Georgia. During this time, you’ll get to know your Corporate Support Team and get in-depth training and education on all aspects of the business. This training is what equips you for success and helps you build a relationship with the team that will be ready to help you whenever you need it!

Mosquitoes aren’t our only enemy—we also help a lot of customers take care of their tick problems. On day five, we’ll make sure you know everything there is to know about these pesky bloodsuckers. Then, we’ll make sure you have the safety training needed to keep your customers and technicians safe and healthy. Finally, we’ll end your initial training with a round of questions and answers.

  • Day 1

    Our first day of training is focused on marketing. We’ll teach you about the customers that Mosquito Squad serves and the best ways to reach them online and offline. Additionally, we’ll go over your territory and provide a general overview regarding how the company operates.

  • Day 2

    Our second day of training is focused on our nemesis and namesake: the mosquito! We’ll show you our groundbreaking Protective Barrier Treatment so you can provide the same great service that The Squad has become known for since 2005. We’ll also get you up-to-date about other mosquito control products we offer such as misting systems. Besides hands-on training, we’ll also take you to a local franchise office. This way, you’ll get to see how a successful mosquito control business operates.

  • Day 3

    Behind every great business is thorough bookkeeping and great people management. On the third day, our accounting team will show you how to use the accounting systems effectively and efficiently. They will review the standard chart of accounts and go over the basics of successful HR management. Then, our IT department will walk you through the core technology platforms that will make your new business run easily and efficiently. These include the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM), e-mail system, and intranet.

  • Day 4

    During our fourth day of training, we’ll walk you through the process of ordering and receiving your products. Then, we’ll equip you with the sales training needed to help you feel comfortable selling services offered by Mosquito Squad. The Squad prides itself on world class customer service. We’ll finish this day by showing you how we keep customers happy with the incredible customer service that our locations have become known for.

  • Day 5

    Mosquitoes aren’t our only enemy—we also help a lot of customers take care of their tick problems. On day five, we’ll make sure you know everything there is to know about these pesky bloodsuckers. Then, we’ll make sure you have the safety training needed to keep your customers and technicians safe and healthy. Finally, we’ll end your initial training with a round of questions and answers.

Continued Support

We’ve helped over 200 locations successfully launch by making sure they are never alone. After the initial training, we’ll help you to put our business system into practice profitably and efficiently. We know what issues and challenges typically arise for a new franchisee in the first two seasons and are ready to help you strategize and overcome these obstacles. Starting a new business isn’t easy, and our experience will help you get over the bumps!

Once you are up and running and through your initial learning curve, the training doesn’t stop. It continues throughout your relationship with Mosquito Squad. Our support staff is available to answer any of your questions.
