Malaria No More
With Mosquito Squad, Your Community Work Extends Internationally
We detest mosquitoes for a good reason: they’re dangerous. Each year, these mosquitoes spread deadly diseases to humans. Today, most Americans don’t have to worry about becoming seriously ill because of diseases transmitted from mosquitoes. For example, while malaria was eliminated in the United States over 50 years ago, it still takes the lives of hundreds of thousands of people in Africa.
Each year, 250 million Africans contract malaria and over 725,000 people are killed by it. This is unacceptable, and Mosquito Squad wants to make a difference.
While we’re passionate about the fight against malaria, we also know that it’s important to today’s consumers that companies give back. According to a Cone Cause Evolution Survey, 87% of consumers say they would switch service providers if the brand was associated with a good cause (if price and quality of service remained the same).
Our Work with Malaria No More
To give back, Mosquito Squad works with Malaria No More, a global nonprofit organization that focuses on reducing malaria deaths in Africa. By working with this company, we’re able to help control mosquitoes both domestically and abroad. No one should die from a serious yet preventable disease such as malaria, and we’re proud to work with Malaria No More to help stop it from happening.
Since 2012, Mosquito Squad franchisees have raised over $500,000 to help Malaria No More save lives. The money we’ve raised has helped prevent the spread of malaria in countries like Cameroon, where communication, bed nets, and education are all it takes to help save thousands of lives.
When you own a Mosquito Squad franchise, you’ll be helping to fight a serious world-health issue while making sure families in your neighborhood are free from the discomfort and dangers of mosquito bites!
We Don’t Just Send Money—Our Franchisees Have Made a Difference Personally!
Some of our franchise owners have become so inspired by the work that Malaria No More does, that they’ve traveled to Africa with the organization to help make a difference in-person. During their trips, they’ve seen the difference that Malaria No More makes with educational programs, bed net distribution, and malaria tests and treatment.
