Mosquito Squad Chicago’s 2014 Campaign to Make Malaria No More

As part of Mosquito Squad’s system-wide effort, we’re proud to support the Malaria No More organization in the fight to end malaria and mosquito borne deaths in Africa.

System-wide, we donated over $55,000 which helped provide life-saving ACT anti-malarial treatments to over 55,000 children. Mosquito Squad Chicago was proud to contribute $7,000 to this great cause in 2013. This year, we’re working to double that! Our goal for 2014 is to donate $15,000 to Malaria No More, which would provide either 1,500 bed nets or 15,000 malaria treatments to African children in need.

Mosquito Squad as a system has set an even more ambitious goal in the next three years – to save 250,000 lives! Our corporate office has already committed over $60,000 to the effort and we’re well on our way to achieving our collective goal.

Scott Case, Vice Chairman of Malaria No More says, “As an enthusiastic partner to Malaria No More, Mosquito Squad is targeting its efforts to help end malaria deaths in Africa. Through their Swat Malaria campaign, Mosquito Squad is demonstrating the same leadership and foresight we’ve seen from their brand over the years – they are dedicated to raising awareness and funds to save thousands of lives in the fight against malaria. Thanks to the commitment of Mosquito Squad, we can make malaria no more.”

What is Malaria No More?

Malaria No More is a global non-profit dedicated to the eradication of malaria, especially in children. Since their founding, they have distributed over 5.6 million insecticide-treated bed nets (using products similar to those Mosquito Squad uses), provided education to local residents and governments, and have reached over 20 million through their mobile alert system nightwatch. With the help of organizations like Malaria No More, malaria deaths in children have fallen over 51% since 2000.
